Rumors and Silliness

There's a rumor of possible transfers at the end of the year going around. And, I know this is completely insensitive of me, when everyone hates transfers, but... I'm kind of excited. ^^; Because I love transfers. ^^;; It's like Christmas... the thrill of wondering what's in the box. I kind of want Masaki in Hoshigumi. *g* She's probably still too young for a transfer, though.

Also, I skimmed through the interview she did with Mame (oooh, if she were in Hana, there could be batchmate love for meee~!), and she talks about how the first show she saw was Tsukigumi, and how she akogared Tsukigumi right up until she got placed into it. I find myself a little suspicious, since the two favorite shows she listed in the hatsubutai profiles in GRAPH in '01 before she got placed in Tsukigumi were Hanagumi shows. ;p

Anyway, beyond that, I'm excited by the new year. The Me and My Girl special page is up, with some of the press conference up in a really short clip. I have to admit, I'm a little worried about Asako's singing... XD

And. Um. Tom is stealing Ume for Soragumi's next show. I guess that answers that. ;)

AAAH!!! Asako looks so good as Bill! And okay, Amami Yuki would be hard to top anyway, so instead I will not think of Asako vs Yuki. Instead, I will take an Elizabeth-an (ha!) view of things, and think of it as apples and oranges. XD

I don't think she's too young... Ahi was first transferred as a ken-6, and Kazu Ryouka was just transferred at the same age. They had both just played 3ban roles in their respective shinkos, though, so maybe Masaki's too prominent an underclassman.
Tom gets all the perks. ;)

*nods* It's a possibility. I think they sometimes transfer when there's other folks of the same class (or pretty close to) also on the star track. So I think Masaki is all right. But my fear is that Mirio is going to pull a Yuzuki Reon, and I want Masaki out of there before then. XD

I don't really worry that much about Asako's voice, because I really did not like Mizu's Saigo no dansu at the press conference, and we all know what she turned into :)

Transfers... yes, transfers don't have to a bad thing. But I am still scared that Hankyu might transfer Yuuhi somewhere. And that would not be a good thing :(

I'm with Katharina on this one. That press footage was from the time in between the Takarazuka and Tokyo runs of Mahoroba. Neither one of them likely had much time to practice. I'm sure they'll sound fine by the time the show starts.

As for transfers...I like my tsukigumi the way it is. There's a couple of people from other troupes I'd like to steal, but I don't want to lose anyone currently. Out of Morie, Maggie, Masaki, and Mirio, I'm worried that one of them will be transferred out. No evidence on this one, though.

To be honest, I want Masaki out, or Mirio out. I think Mirio is still too young, but in another three or four years, I could see her pulling a Yuzuki Reon. :/ I want my girl safely elsewhere where she can continue to shine without getting over-shadowed by an underclassman.

I think that's one of the problems with tsuki at the moment - too MUCH young talent... and they really HAVE been giving Mirio quite a bit of exposure lately.

(Then again, the same could be said for Masao at Mirio's age).

It'll be interesting to see how things turn out...

I'm not sure how it would work, if they moved all the young 'uns around. Seems like that age bracket ('00 - '02) still has so many left in every troupe (and on the star track, or nominally on the star track) that moving people around wouldn't change much yet...

It will be interesting... Someone mentioned musumeyaku transfers. Now that I could see....
